At nine years old, Shawn Hunt realized she wanted the ability to provide for herself and her family no matter what life brought. That belief shaped everything that followed — her pursuit of business, accounting, finance, and operations.
More than three decades in corporate leadership, across banking, healthcare, oil refining, travel, health insurance, and service industries, gave her a front-row seat to how businesses actually run. But it turned out to be preparation, not the destination.
After a major back surgery and an unexpected season of unemployment, Shawn had time to reflect. In that season, she recognized that God had been preparing her for something larger than accounting.
She saw a pattern: many first-generation business owners weren't struggling because they lacked vision. They were struggling because no one had ever taught them how to build a business that could continue beyond them.
